Download
1. Click the Download Now link to download the file.
2. When the File Download window appears, click Save to save the file to your hard drive.
Extract Files
1. Browse to the location where you downloaded the file and double-click the new file to unzip the download package
2. Click Continue.
3. Specify the location to unzip the files.
4. Click on the OK button to extract files.
After the files are extracted the message all files were successfully unzipped will appear.
5. Click the OK button to exit from the installer.
Updating firmware on the Dell 1230c Color Printer

NOTICE: Do not turn off your printer or computer, or disconnect any cables during this operation. Doing this will corrupt the printer memory and the printer will be permanently damaged.

(This software is installed when user installs printer via CD)
1. Download and extract the zip file which contain the Dell1230c_Vx.x.x.x.hd file.
2. Install printer via CD.
3. After installation, press Start->Program->Dell->Dell Printer->Dell 1230c->FW Update Utility.
4. Select USB/Network Printer (as per connectivity to the printer).
5. Click the browse button and locate the location of the Dell2335dn_Vx.x.x.x.hd file.
6. Select the printer to be flashed.
7. Click Update Firmware button to begin flashing. |
